Duke, Pharm.D.to Chief Clinical Officer and the appointment of Joseph Gruber, R.Ph. to the newly created role of Senior Vice President of Product Solutions. These strategic leadership changes help position the company to further accelerate clinical innovation and expand market growth.
As Chief Clinical Officer, Duke will spearhead initiatives to bring ActualMeds’ rules framework to the next level of agentic AI to facilitate workflows and scalability with the highest standards of clinical quality. His efforts will also focus on continuing to actively participate and contribute to industry standards bodies like Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) and the PACIO Project for Interoperability.
Duke brings over 30 years of diverse pharmacy experience spanning long-term care consulting, hematology-oncology clinical services, and retail pharmacy. He holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy and a B.A. in Chemistry from Huntingdon College.

Gruber has been with ActualMeds since 2013 and brings extensive experience from his 20-year career with CVS/Omnicare LTC Pharmacy, where he served in leadership roles including National Director of Medication Management Services. He holds a BS Pharm from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Master's Certification in Gerontology from Southern Illinois University.
